We identified white microbial fungal growth and moisture staining at the base of the main vertical support post, applied an EPA-registered antimicrobial disinfectant spray directly to the affected timber, sanitized the surrounding wood members, and recommended installing a continuous vapor barrier to control crawl space humidity and prevent future mold growth.
