The property owner called for emergency water damage mitigation after a tenant took a shower, leading to an unknown plumbing or shower enclosure leak that migrated through the wall cavity into the adjacent bedroom carpet and padding.

Our emergency response team arrived on site to locate and mitigate the water intrusion. We conducted a thermal and moisture inspection using Protimeter meters, confirming heavy saturation in the bedroom carpet and underlay near the bathroom doorway. We extracted standing water, positioned low-profile centrifugal air movers to dry the subfloor and carpet, applied an EPA-registered antimicrobial agent to prevent mould growth, and monitored moisture levels to ensure thorough structural drying.
