We pulled back the carpet and padding to fully expose the contaminated wooden subfloor. After treating and cleaning the affected area with professional-grade antimicrobial solutions to neutralize the mold, we applied a specialized white encapsulating sealant to the wood to prevent future microbial growth, block odors, and ensure the subfloor was safe before laying the flooring back down.
