The customer contacted us to address a widespread structural water intrusion leak that had multi-directionally migrated across multiple rooms in the property. The water damage originated from an overhead breach, leading to distinct brown staining on a textured plaster ceiling, as well as severe localized rotting, splitting, and material degradation along a natural wood-panelled ceiling area. Professional moisture tracking, structural assessment, and targeted environmental stabilization were required to prevent further material failure and secondary mould growth.
Our team provided a comprehensive water damage assessment and structural stabilization solution across the property. Our team mapped out the moisture migration paths affecting both the kitchen ceiling transitions and the adjoining living areas. We thoroughly inspected the compromised timber panels to evaluate their structural integrity and treated the water-stained plaster and wood substrates with commercial-grade antimicrobial agents to stop any active microbial nesting. Finally, we deployed targeted drying protocols to pull trapped moisture out of the semi-porous ceiling layers, successfully stabilizing the property's indoor air conditions and preparing the structures for safe, permanent restoration repairs.
