The customer contacted us to handle an emergency water damage mitigation response in their large residential living area. Because trapped moisture under a large area rug can quickly destroy the subfloor, ruin underlying materials, and cause widespread mould issues, the client needed immediate extraction, water damage diagnostics, and high-capacity drying equipment setup.

We provided a comprehensive water extraction, moisture inspection, and high-velocity structural drying solution. Our technicians conducted an on-site assessment to map out the moisture migration across the open-plan living room floor. To address the heavy saturation in the porous area rug without requiring immediate removal, we deployed an advanced commercial drying system, including a high-capacity Phoenix commercial dehumidifier and a strategically positioned low-profile axial air mover. This setup created a powerful continuous thermal evaporation loop that safely extracted trapped moisture from both the carpet layer and the subfloor, stabilizing the room's relative humidity and successfully returning the living space to safe baseline conditions.
