The customer contacted us to address a hidden water damage loss affecting their spare bedroom. While there was no immediate standing water visible on the surface of the hardwood flooring, moisture had successfully migrated into the room, threatening to warp the wood planks and compromise the subfloor. The client required professional diagnostic testing and thermal mapping to precisely track the boundaries of the moisture intrusion and prevent secondary structural damage.
We provided a comprehensive water damage assessment and structural drying solution to protect the bedroom. Our team utilized a professional FLIR E4 thermal imaging camera to perform a non-invasive moisture inspection, successfully mapping out the cooler, purple thermal signatures that indicated hidden water pocketing beneath the hardwood floor planks. After isolating the exact boundaries of the water migration, we deployed targeted drying equipment and structural air movers to pull moisture out of the semi-porous flooring and baseboards, ensuring the spare bedroom was thoroughly dried to safe baseline conditions without requiring destructive material removal.
