The customer contacted us to handle an emergency water mitigation and structural drying response following a toilet overflow in their bathroom. The water intrusion spread beyond the bathroom flooring, breaking through thresholds to saturate the carpeted transitions in the adjacent hallway and living areas. Because the building's maintenance team could not precisely identify the mechanical source of the malfunction, professional extraction, diagnostics, and targeted evaporation were required to secure the property and prevent structural tracking or microbial growth.
Our team provided a complete water damage mitigation, sanitation, and drying solution to stabilize the affected rooms. Our team began by setting up commercial extraction equipment, running vacuum lines to thoroughly extract standing and trapped water from both the bathroom's wood-look vinyl flooring and the saturated hallway carpet fibres. We applied commercial-grade sanitizers to combat any potential biological contaminants from the toilet overflow. To finish, we deployed multiple industrial-grade Phoenix axial air movers positioned across the bathroom and transition zones to rapidly eliminate remaining subfloor moisture, successfully returning the property to safe, dry baseline conditions.
