The customer contacted us to handle an emergency Category 3 water damage event resulting from a severe bathtub overflow. The contaminated water breached the bathroom boundaries, seeping through the walls and flooring to directly impact the adjacent master bedroom. Because the water migrated underneath the flooring and into structural wall cavities, the client required professional thermal imaging and advanced structural drying to prevent extensive mould growth and structural rot.
Our team provided a comprehensive water damage mitigation and structural drying solution to restore both affected rooms. Our team began by conducting a detailed inspection utilizing professional FLIR thermal imaging cameras to accurately map the hidden moisture migration patterns behind the walls and beneath the master bedroom carpet. We then extracted all standing water and treated the contaminated surfaces with commercial-grade antimicrobials to eliminate potential biohazards. To finish, we deployed industrial-grade Phoenix axial air movers and dehumidifiers to rapidly accelerate the evaporation process, successfully restoring the drywall, subflooring, and master bedroom carpet to safe, dry baseline conditions.
