The customer contacted us to address a flood loss in their residential garage. The flooding originated from a overhead failure, specifically structural leaking and rust-related corrosion along a heavy-duty "Central" main water/sprinkler line elbow pipe running across the garage ceiling. This left standing water, residue, and minor staining across the painted concrete garage floor.
Our team provided a complete water extraction and structural drying solution to restore the garage space. Our team cleared the floor area and extracted the standing floodwater, followed by an intensive cleaning of the concrete floor to eliminate any dirt and dirty residues left by the flood. We carefully inspected the ceiling pipes, isolating the leaking overhead elbow joint where the corrosion occurred to ensure the source was managed. Finally, we deployed industrial drying equipment and air movers to thoroughly dry out the concrete floor, walls, and overhead concrete structures, returning the garage to a safe, dry, and usable condition.
